Ekiti 2014: Fayemi is our candidate – APC

The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Thursday said that incumbent Gov. Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti state has emerged its lone candidate for the June 21 governorship poll in Ekiti State.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that interim Chairman of APC in the State, Chief Jide Awe said that though APC had regard and respect for the Constitution and Electoral Act, the party’s laws were internal that must also be respected.

Awe said at a news conference addressed in Ado-Ekiti to usher-in the nationwide registration exercise of new members of the party that no candidate, other than Fayemi, would fly the party’s flag.
