Ogbeni Rauf may lose his sit over the baptist high school incident

 Osun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic
Party (PDP) said that Governor Rauf Aregbesola
might loose his job. PDP Chairman in the state Alhaji Gani Olaoluwa
said in a statement in Osogbo that the chapter had
condemned the Tuesday's visit of Aregbesola to Baptist High School in Iwo. According to the chairman, this visit did nothing but
downplayed the current problem. On February 4, the students of the school had appeared in different dresses that suited their religious inclination to school - some wore hijab and
other religious paraphernalia.
 Olaoluwa said that the visit of Aregbesola to Iwo
where he wore uniforms was condemnable, arguing
that he should urgently revert to the old uniform and
"stop forthwith the use of religious paraphernalia in
Christian schools." He further said that the rate of crisis in public
schools had increased since the present Osun
administration began the reclassification exercise. Olaoluwa added that the days of Aregbesola were
numbered in Osun because the PDP "has set
machinery in motion to kick him out."
