Three of the pregnant girls were teenagers, who identified themselves as Precious Steven, Miracle Eze and Blessing Saviour. Others were Gift  Jeremiah, 25; Joy Okoro, 20; Stella Samuel, 19; Agnes Igbo, 22 and Vivian Princewill, 20.

The Commissioner of Police in the state, Ikemefuna Okoye, while conducting newsmen round the baby-making factory, which has its operational base at No 9, Sebanjo Crescent, off Fabolude bus stop, Akute, said that men of the Ajuwon Divisional Police Station stormed the place while acting on a tip-off.

Okoye said: “When we moved in around 7:00a.m. on Thursday, we couldn’t get anything. So, we left. But later, we got information and we came back to the house and continued searching. We discovered that the pregnant girls were hidden in the wardrobe.
