Bola Tinubu Named As New LAUTECH Chancellor

The authorities of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, in Osun State has announced that come Wednesday 23rd April 2014 it will invest the former governor of Lagos state and the national leader of the All Progressive Congress(APC) with the position of the Chancellor of the University.

The convocation and investiture award and lecture will take place in the SIFAX Lecture Theatre within the premises of the university in Ogbomoso.

The event which will see Tinubu also awarded the D.Sc (Honoris Causa) in management science by the institution will have Dr Robert Micheal Franklin, president emeritus of Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, USA delivering a lecture on “Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Education for Nigeria, Africa and the Diaspora.”
