Pregnant lady stabs boyfriend for buying the kids gift and none for her.

A 24-year old expectant mother in Chicago, Miata Phelan, has reportedly stabbed her boyfriend, Larry Martin to death for not buying her a gift at the mall.

The prosecutors told the court that the accused committed the crime on April 30th.

According to prosecutors, after she stabbing the man, she was quoted as saying; "This is what you get for messing with me. I hope you die mother f--r" she said as her boyfriend was bleeding.

The prosecutor told the court that the accused anger came after the family took a trip to the mall, adding that the man bought gifts for his 8-year old son and his 25-year old cousin, but didn't buy anything for Phelan.

Assistant State Attorney Glen Runk, told the court that the accused allegedly lost it and took her boyfriend's life, adding that the pregnant woman had already started attacking the man in the car on their way home, almost causing an accident

Runk said that the accused kicked Martin out of the car and drove away, forcing him, his son and their cousin to have to walk home.

"I'm gonna die, but I love you", the dad said to his son as his last words.

Martin's son, who was a key witness to the stabbing, said his father collapsed on the sidewalk and died shortly afterward at the Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.

Runk said that the woman is charged with first-degree murder, and her bail placedset at $1 million dollars.
