Don't Play Politics With Our Girls, Say Chibok Indigenes
« on: June 14, 2014, 01:58:52 PM »
Indigenes of Chibok Local Government Area of Borno State have refuted claims in some quarters that over 200 girls were not abducted from their schools 60 days ago.

Indigenes of the area were at a Friday meeting organised by campaigners calling for the rescue of the girls in Abuja.

They said those doubting the abduction of the girls should not play politics with the issue, stressing that the abduction has affected parents and relations of the school girls

The indigenes thanked members of the group for demanding the safe return of the girls before disabusing the minds of some Nigerians who doubt the abduction of the girls.

In their response, campaigners called on the government to expedite action for the release of the girls and promised to continue to champion the course for the safe return of the girls.
