Aspiring models no longer have to wander aimlessly around malls waiting for modeling scouts to find them. Turns out, if you’re lucky enough to go viral for being cute, you might also get lucky enough to land a modeling contract.

That’s exactly what happened to 17-year-old Axelle Despiegelaere, whose picture went viral on Twitter at some point during the seemingly never-ending, epically boring World Cup. L’Oréal Professionnel Belgium saw the image of Despiegelaere wearing a viking cap and waving pom-poms around and offered her a one-time contract to produce a video for social media use.
Not only is this a fabulous opportunity for Despiegelaere, it’s also most definitely the most interesting thing to come out of the World Cup since the boringness began a lifetime ago.
