Drinking Coffee May Prevent Heart Failure
« on: November 01, 2012, 02:14:07 PM »
A recent study published in the journal Circulation Heart Failure appears to indicate that coffee consumption can reduce the risk of heart failure in coffee drinkers. This is great news to the 5.8 million Americans who suffer from heart failure currently and even greater news to those who will suffer heart failure in the near future.

Heart failure is a condition in which the heart is not sufficiently strong to pump blood to the far reaches of the body, and this condition is on the rise as the obesity epidemic truly settles into the American population.

However, two American-sized servings of coffee a day appears to combat this condition, giving the circulatory system just the boost it needs to pump essential blood to the outer limbs. If you are a regular coffee drinker, then you are already receiving this benefit from your daily brew. After learning about coffee’s potential long-term mental benefits, this news has many wondering if there is anything coffee isn’t good for!
