NIGERIANS will have the opportunity of watching the 18th National Sports Festival (NSF), tagged Eko 2012 on their phones and Ipads, the festival's Local oganising Committee (LOC) said on Friday.

The chairman of the LOC's Media and Publicity Sub-Committee, Mr Wale Edun, disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos.

He said that Nigerians could also view the events on their sets.

Edun said that following the LOC's partnership with Vodstreet Ltd., a world-class live streaming outfit, Nigerians at home and abroad will be able to view events at Eko 2012 in the comfort of their homes, as well as on-the-move.

“This has never happened in the history of the NSF, but it must happen now, to underscore the point that Lagos is indeed the centre of excellence,” he said.

According to him, sports enthusiasts across the globe will also be able to watch events of the 18th NSF and related contents live, on their mobile devices.
