Encyclopaedia Britannica finally goes totally digital in 2012 after many years of print editions. After 244 years, "the 32-volume Encyclopaedia Britannica print set will be discontinued," according to an announcement on Britannica's web site. The 2010 set (which costs US$ 1 395) will be the final print edition before the Britannica goes completely digital.

I know some  old school people still like the big prints but with the growing world on digital services and digital media, Its time The Encyclopaedia Britannica comes forward digitally where we can read, search and get to history faster than before.

Have you read any of the 32 volumes? Remember this TV Series Kyle XY where the guy read out an encyclopaedia in minutes? lol
