« on: January 11, 2013, 07:47:14 PM »

Rev. Chris Okotie has expressed his resolve not to contract any marriage with women again.

Reacting to speculations suggesting that he might remarry after his two previous encounters that ended in controversy, the reverend-turned politician in a statement from his media aide, Mr. Ladi Ayodeji ruled out such possibility.

Previously married  twice, the General Overseer of the Household of God Church, had called it quits with Ms Stephanie Henshaw who was his second wife prompting suggestions that he would be contracting another marriage last December.

Okotie who was the presidential candidate of Fresh Democratic Party in the statement reportedly told his church members that in spite of the controversy, nothing of such is in the offing thus putting the issue finally to rest.

Ayodeji in the statement noted, “Speculations about his future marriage which have been the subject of media controversy since his separation from his former wife, Stephanie Henshaw last year”.

He went further to state that, “His decision not to remarry is final and irrevocable, having already settled the matter with the Lord Jesus Christ. Leadership
