The singer whose photos from the just concluded Grammys went viral reportedly complained of pain in her head just after returning back into the country, and she was rushed to Reddington Hospital in Lagos, where she sadly passed on.

The gorgeous Goldie had her trademark smile, and the confident pose that endeared many Nigerians to her. Beautiful, full of passion and just ready to go.

It’s amazing how one so alive barely 24 hours ago could have gone like a candle in the wind…

A post from her official twitter handle some moments ago said, “It is with heavy heart that I have to inform you all that Goldie passed this night shortly after arriving Lagos from LA. May her soul rest in the eternal peace of the Lord – Admin!!”

She may not be the fans favorite but she sure has her own freaks. She is a determined singer, someone who believes in her style, pursues her course and stays firm on what she believes. People may remember the Big brother house cries and love wrap up (how is BBA boyfriend taking it?) but yes, Goldie is a class act on her own.

Her death sends shivers down the spines, now we will miss her more than ever....she has a void created now and we will have it opened for a while. RIP to Goldie.....
