GETTING RID OF THAT BODY ODOR
Body odor is natural and is usually caused by sweating, though the
intensity may defer in different people depending on lifestyle and
personal hygiene. When you are hot, feel nervous, or start
exercising, you are likely to sweat more. This is your body's way of
regulating your inner temperature. Yes, it's annoying, but sweating
and body odor is not something to be afraid of. Sweating is actually
good for you, and body odor can easily be prevented.

CAUSES OF BODY ODOR
Body odor is caused by a mixture of sweat secreted by the sweat
glands and bacteria.
This happens mostly in the axillary (armpit) region and the genital
region, although the gland can also be found in the areola and
around the navel. The armpit regions seem more important than the
genital region for body odor.
The armpit contains springy hair that helps diffuse the smell.

WAYS TO PREVENT BODY ODOR
  Be sure to shower or bathe daily. Use proper body cleansing
agents such as soap or shower gel. Wash everything completely
especially your underarms
  Shaving beneath your arms can help eliminate body odor and
make antiperspirants/deodorants easier to apply.
  If you use a razor to shave ensure the razor is clean before you
shave. You can clean the razor with disinfectant or antiseptic.
  Wear cotton underwear and other natural fabrics. Man-made
materials such as polyester, rayon and silk are not as
breathable and can cause you to sweat more.
  Change your clothes, including undergarments and socks, daily.
Wash underwear (but not necessarily bras) after each use, and
other clothes at least when they get dirty, sweaty, or when
they do not smell clean. Socks and shoes may be changed 2-3
times per day if they get sweaty, and keeping feet dry can
reduce odor and irritation.
  Store your clothes and underwear in your wardrobe neatly and
allow air to get in contact with it.
  Don't put on cologne to mask odors--it will make matters
worse
  Use a deodorant or antiperspirant (Deodorants control and
cover up odor, antiperspirants reduce wetness by drying up
sweat)
  Apply extra virgin coconut oil to your smelly skin; the lauric acid
in coconut oil kills bacteria, thus making you smell better.
  Use a medicated foot powder or antifungal spray to prevent
foot odor. It's also important to air out sweaty athletic
shoes/sneakers.
  If you smoke, stop smoking. Everyone knows that smoking
causes cigarette smell to attach to your clothing. It can also
negatively affect the regulatory systems responsible for
keeping odors in line.
  Change your sheets frequently, and use white sheets because
they can be bleached. After all, you spend eight hours every
day in your bed on your sheets
  Spray perfume onto your clothes, and put perfume in the
washing machine when you wash them.
