Officials of the Ogun state Internal Revenue Scheme, OGIRS, charged the accused to court for being in possession of 20 different number plates which he had manufactured for some illegal business.

It said the offence contravenes sections 465 and 467 of the State Criminal Code law, 2006.

Delivering her judgment, Magistrate Victoria Williams said she found Olatiloye guilty as charged and subsequently sentenced him to six months imprisonment without an option of fine, after he had pleaded guilty to the two-count charge.

The Chairman of the State Internal Revenue Service, Babajide Odubanjo, while reacting to the judgment said, it was a welcome development and a plus
for his advocacy against forgery and fake revenue documents as well as number plates. - DailyPost
