The Lagos State Police Command is on the trail of a senior driver with Oil giant, Chevron, for allegedly stealing twin babies.

The suspect, simply identified as Mr. Debo, had been arrested alongside his fourth wife, who claimed to be the biological mother of the babies.

DailyPost gathered that Debo was picked up weeks ago at his residence in Ikorodu, Lagos State, where he lives with three other wives and 19 children.

Similarly, the fourth wife, who does not stay at the family home, was also arrested and taken to Area F command, Ikeja.

But Deb,o along with the woman were granted bail, after reportedly paying a huge sum of money.

A police source disclosed that the investigation showed that woman bought the set of twin, but told her lover that she delivered them.

Her elated Husband, who believed the news since they do not live in same apartment, accepted the babies and threw a party.

However, days after the celebration, police officers following a tip off, arrested the woman and questioned her about the babies.

It was at that point that Debo became aware of the true picture. He was also arrested, but secured bail for himself and the suspect.

Meanwhile, following more revelations, the state Command has commenced a fresh inquiry into the matter.

Lagos Police spokesperson, Ngozi Braide, confirmed that officers handling the case have been asked to immediately re-arrest Debo and his wife.
