Why is everyone complaining about OUR performance at the Olympics? At the Olympics, We went to showcase a Summarized performance of what we have been doing in the past "2 Months" (Fire Brigade Approach) while other countries were showcasing a "Detailed" performance of what they have been doing for the past "Few Years".

This is the problem with us Nigerians and it shows in all facets of our lives(Football, Athletics, Education, Currency Value, Agriculture) we want to acquire so much in few days without preparing or working hard for it while Other Nations are paying attention to Details and working hard for years to grind out result. The results are there for us to see. Na today? Unfortunately we don't learn from the past. We are so much in a hurry. Our Leaders are busy stealing and enjoying estacodes at the Olympics while we keep deceiving ourselves praying that God will do it.

 What will God do when U Fail to Plan? What will God do when you don't demand excellence from your Leaders?" U av simply planned to Fail. We have abandoned the Visions of our founding Fathers who laid a solid foundation for the future. And today we are not ashamed to talk about the glorious days of Awolowo, of Ogbemudia, of Aminu Kano, Of Ahmadu Bello, of Olabisi Onabanjo, of Uncle Bola Ige, of Zik, of Jakande.

Whatever happened to their vision? We have destroyed them out of greed and laziness, devilish scheming. We have all failed to elect good leaders in positions of authorities and we keep complaining that we have bad leaders forgetting the fact that "The Leadership of any Country is a Reflection of the People of that Country". We need to start doing things right, only then can we expect the right results. U cannot do the same thing over and over and Expect a different result. I don talk my own. Shikena
