Man remanded for stealing 100 chairs, three bottled water from church

An Upper Area Court in Karu, Abuja, on Friday, remanded one Shedrach Johnson for stealing plastic chairs from a church. The police charged Johnson, who lives in Gidan Daya, Orozo, Abuja with criminal trespass and theft. The Judge, Malam Hassan Mohammed, deferred sentence and adjourned the case until March 24.
