Omeruo makes 40-man Golden Boy nominees shortlist alongside Januzaj, Lukaku etc

Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo, has made the 40-man shortlist for the 2013 Golden Boy Award.

The 20-year-old, who is on the books of Chelsea, made the cut along with names like Adnan Januzaj, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Paul Pogba, Raphael Varane, etc thanks to his performances at the Africa Cup of Nations and the FIFA Confederations Cup in Brazil.

The winner will be announced later in the year after voting by journalists across the world. Isco of Real Madrid won the award last year, after a fantastic season with Malaga.
