LAUTECH, Kano varsity resume January 6

The authorities of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, has announced the resumption for the  2012/2013 rain semester.

The resumption order according to a release by the institution’s registrar, Mr. J.A. Agboola, was approved by the Senate at its meeting of Friday, December 20, 2013.

According to the new academic calendar for the rain semester, the E-Registration without penalty for all students would be on Monday, December 23 while resumption and commencement of lectures is Monday, January 6.

According to the registrar, registration with penalty will begin on Monday, February 3, while it will end on Sunday, February 23.

The rain semester examination will start on Monday, March 31, according to the calendar.

In a related development, the Kano University of Science and Technology (KUST), Wudil, will commence academic activities on January 6.

This information is contained in a statement signed by the Deputy Registrar, Information and Public Relations of the university, Alhaji Sabo Nayaya, in Kano on Saturday.

The statement stated that the decision to commence lectures on January 6 was taken after its Senate reviewed the school’s academic calendar.
