They killed my sister after inserting pepper in our private parts

A 13-year-old girl has narrated a gory tale of how the local vigilante and market officials in Ejigbo area of Lagos State connived, tortured, stripped and inserted pepper in her private part and that of her half-sister  Juliana Agoma and her mother, leading to the death of her half-sister.
The teenager said Agoma was accused of stealing pepper and was not given an opportunity to explain before she was tortured to death.

Narrating the ordeal to journalists at Federal Special Anti- Robbery Squad (FSARS), Adeniji Adele, Lagos State, Annex Headquarters, yesterday, she said the market officials who had asked her father to pay a fine of N50,000  threatened that unless her father parts with the money, they would behead her mother in their presence and all pleas that they should wait for her father who had gone in search of the money fell on deaf ears.
The victim said they took her and her half-sister, Juliana Agoma away from their residence to the Oba Morufu International Market and demanded to know the whereabouts of her mother and father and when they saw her mother, they began to slap her.

She said her father’s pleas fell on deaf ears as they beat three of them women and threatened to deal with her father and at the market, in his presence, after he had given the market officials N20,000 out of the money demanded, stripped her, her mother and half-sister and tortured them. She told LEADERSHIP that some inserted their fingers in their private parts while their father watched helplessly in tears, adding that as if that was not enough, they inserted pepper in their private parts.
