Another Taraba State Government Official Dies

 The government of Taraba State has announced the demise of the Permanent Secretary of the Abuja Liaison Office, Dauda Maikomo.Maikomo passed away a few days after a federal permanent secretary, Fidelis Kiagama, who hailed from Taraba, died.According to a statement issued Wednesday by the Head of Civil Service, Dr Hamidu Ahmed Kara, on behalf of Governor Agbu Kefas, Maikomo died after a brief illness.Dr Kara described Maikomo as a committed public servant who made significant contributions to both the state government and the nation at large.He applauded Maikomo’s leadership, vision, and unwavering commitment to public service, stating that his absence will be deeply felt across Taraba State.“Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time,” Dr Kara said.A state burial, according to the Head of Civil Service will be held in Maikomo’s honour at a date to be determined by the family.The government called on citizens to remember the late official’s legacy and continue to be inspired by his service.
