Motorola unveiled a new smartphone on Tuesday that may be low end, but it has a few features we really like. The Moto E runs Android 4.4.2, aka KitKat, and has a 4.3-inch display that touts an impressive resolution of 256 pixels per inch. The Moto E will also be water resistant—a trait we’d like to eventually see on all phones.

Being an entry-level smartphone, it definitely has a downside. The Moto E runs dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU, and has just 1GB of RAM. Another downer: The rear camera tops out at 5 megapixels, and Moto hasn’t even announced the specs for its front-facing camera. There may not even be one.

Though there’s certainly an audience for a phone like this in the U.S., Motorola hasn’t yet said where the Moto E will be distributed, or how much it will cost.
