Chief of Defence Staff promises again "We will Defeat Boko Haram"

Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh, has expressed confidence that the nation’s Military will overcome the Boko Haram sect.

He gave the assurance yesterday during his visit to the scene of explosions in Jos, the Plateau state capital.

On recent fight against the violent group, Badeh said “The military has been mounting serious pressure on the insurgents and that is the reason they have started moving out of the area.”

“Nigerian soldiers are highly capable of fighting the insurgents and very soon, the issue would be addressed.

“Some countries have been fighting terrorist activities for over 40 years but the issue is entirely new. We do everything possible to address it,” the CDS added.

In his remarks, Governor Jonah Jang praised security agencies for their prompt reaction to incidents. - DailyPost
