Day 150 Of Chibok Girls Abduction: Protest Continues
« on: September 11, 2014, 06:35:32 AM »
The #BringBackOurGirls (BBOG) group will today march on the streets of Abuja to continue on its advocacy for the safe rescue of the 219 Chibok School girls who were abducted by the Boko Haram sect 150 days ago.

The group in its 135 sit-out yesterday, stated that the street protest which will be at Old Federal Secretariat and Area 1 axis will involve engagement with the public, including distribution of fliers and pamphlets.

It stated that not minding the frequent distraction from different quarters, the group would continue to focus on its singular issue which is the Chibok girls and their safe return to their families.

Recall that the group had held two street protests in Garki, Maitama and Asokoro areas of the city in commemoration of the abduction of the girls and plans to continue up until the girls are rescued.

The group stated that it will continue on its advocacy to hit home the issue of the Chibok girls and urged the government to work towards bringing the girls home.
