The truly amazing sporting edifice is an Olympic Sized stadium is a 30,000 capacity ultra modern complex that is already regarded as the best in the West African region and compared with South Africa’s Soccer city.

Modelled after the Allianz Arena in Germany, the home ground of reigning German Champions Bayern Munich, the Stadium boasts 4 -tier, covered, seating terrace,  all-natural grass, high-tech floodlights and security cameras, 36 emergency exits, bullet proof VVIP and VIP along with other ultra-modern facilities.

Don Jazzy, Tiwa Savage, Dr Sid, D Prince and other Mavin artistes stepped out in all white ensemble as they attended the opening of Ibom stadium in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state this evening
