The Kano State Commissioner of Police, Mr Aderinle Shinaba, has said six persons were killed in Friday’s bomb explosions in Kano.Shinaba said in Kano on Saturday that the bomb explosion at Magarsiku Filling Station at Hotoro in Kano, occurred when a suicide bomber went into the petrol station pretending to be buying petrol,.

According to him, immediately the hoodlum entered the petrol station, he detonated the bomb which was hidden inside his car.

He added that two vehicles were completely burnt, while two others were damaged.

The commissioner said the injured persons had since been taken to the hospital for treatment.
