Nigerian Military re-captures Chibok Town (not the girls ooo)

The Nigerian military has stated in a press statement that it has recaptured Chibok town, the hometown of over 200 abducted school girls recently occupied  by Islamist militant group Boko Haram.

The terse press release was issued yesterday by the  spokesman of 7th Division Nigerian Army, Col. Sani Usman.

“This is to inform you that troops of 7 Division Nigerian Army have recaptured Chibok town in Borno State from Boko Haram terrorists since yesterday," Col. Usman stated in his release

"The military is still carrying out mopping up operations in the surrounding environment. Chibok town is now fully secured."

 “You are please requested to disseminate this to the public through your medium. Thank you.”
