World Bank sponsors 6 Pedestrian Bridges in Abuja with $10 Million

The World Bank had approved the provision of $10 million for the procurement of construction of four pedestrian bridges in phase one and two bridges and three traffic management measures in phase two, on some selected roads in Abuja.

The six bridges, which inauguration was performed on Tuesday, were awarded by the Federal Government to Messrs Dutum Company, Rurak Steel Bridging Ltd and Enerco Nigeria Ltd, with a contract period of six months each.

Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja administration has iterated its readiness to successfully deliver the project within the scheduled six months time frame.
