Man Killed in Lagos over refusal to play Lottery

A middle-aged man has been murdered in cold blood at Ojuelegba, in Surulere area of Lagos State by suspected hired hoodlums over lottery.

The deceased, identified as Oluwatosin, was said to be a lottery agent at Odunade street in Shomolu area of the state. He was said to be working for a woman identified as Shade.

LEADERSHIP gathered that somebody told Oluwatosin to play a number and that he was coming back to know if he had won but the agent, after doing so, allegedly deleted the game from the machine.

When Shade heard that the man deleted a game, she became angry. Shade was said to have ordered her agent to follow her to Ojuelegba and he obeyed.

While going to Ojuelegba, the woman allegedly invited some hoodlums to beat him up. The victim was said to have been beaten until he was unconscious.
