THE SUN IN THE SNOW
I dock my sack on my back
And trot from Hill head to Taylor
A trot so familiar, it relaxes my patella
And dear friend Phi Phi walking just beside.
We stroll and chat about ‘expropriation’
And curse our tyrants well posed as leaders
Our feet so eager to make it to Taylor
Yet slipping through the icy garden path
From snow and ice that was the night before.
