REGRETS
The deepest sigh wouldn’t solve a thing
The deeds are done and this feeling they bring
That little voice could have been shut when it started to sing-
And then cast away like a stone from a sling
In the mind, distortions surge
As the desperate need to satisfy urge
Has cost the being to wish he could regress-
Certain acts or even thoughts at the time he was depressed.
