Ramsay Memorial Research Fellowships in Chemistry at University College London i

(1/1)

Kufre Isaac Akpan:
International students can now apply for The Ramsay Memorial Fellowships at the University College London. The Ramsay Memorial fellowships are awarded annually to brilliant postdoctoral chemists who have previously had some postdoctoral experience of research but are in the early stages of their career so that they may initiate a programme of original and independent research.
University College London (UCL) is a public research university in London, England and a constituent college of the federal University of London. It is the largest postgraduate institution in the UK by enrollment and is considered as one of the world’s leading multidisciplinary research universities.
Level of Course: Fellowships are awarded to students  pursuing a programme of independent research.
Subject of Study: Fellowships are available only in the field of Chemistry.
Scholarship Award: Although a Ramsay Fellowship may be fully funded by the Trust, the expectation is that it will normally be co-sponsored either by a university department, an industrial company or another body approved by the Trustees. Where a Fellowship is co-sponsored, the Trust will contribute 50% of the Fellow’s total salary costs up to a maximum of £17,500 per annum, with the balance of all other costs to be paid by the co-sponsor. In addition, a grant of up to £1,000 per annum may be requested by the Fellow for (non-travel) research expenses which can be shown to be essential to the research work being undertaken.
Scholarship can be taken in the UK
