Guys : What is your View about Ties .... Sincerely?

I have hated ties since i was a boy even my mom testified that i used up to three bow ties for my 1st year Birthday cos i kept throwing them away.

Today i find myself in a field where i don't have to where tie and im so grateful for it.

But i ask, What has a tie got to do with Corporate Business and Employee Performance? Why is it been forced on us somehow in the corporate world?
Why Why Why?

Richard Branson said something hilarious when he said "Why was the tie ever invented? Everyone in business looks the same and dresses the same. I’m sure they only exist because bosses, after being forced to wear ties all their life, are determined to inflict the same fate on the next generation."

whats your own view about ties generally?

It is meant to simply tie you down to your job.
I dont even see how it complements what people wear.frankly.

Ties are boring and I hate Ties so i can Richard Brandson and start cutting off ties..lol
