Are there any Rules for Being Friends with your Friends Ex?

Your friend is in a relationship and then you guys hang out, Its normal you get to know his/her BF/GF and then somehow there is this small circle of friendship between everybody. And then somewhere along the line they break up... you would always assume that it was easy to pick the side of your friend (because they're your friend) but in actuality it's not always so easy, is it?

You have your friend but their Ex still wants to still be friends with you and the breakup doesn't leave them on talking terms. This situation has happened to me and some guys i know but i really dont know how to answer it because it plays out in different ways

Well, Here is what i think

1. If the break-up was not heart breaking to your friend and was mutual, I don't think its wrong because she is not his property any more
2. If you want to be friends no problem But you might be careful not to get physical with her for the sake of your friend, esp if he still has feelings for her
3. Or what they F**k, If you really Like her, Follow up and invite your friend to the wedding...

I guess its up to you in the end, you know what your friend is worth to you and the risk you will be taking on if you take his ex as a friend.
