Police Arrest 3 Robbery Suspects, Kill 2

The police have arrested three robbery suspects and killed two others around Ibusa, Asaba, Delta State in the early hours of yesterday.

Police spokesman in the state, ASP Famous Ajieh said that the suspects was arrested at a beer parlour while  two of them was killed in a failed attempt to escape.

Disclosing that several ammunitions were recovered from the suspects, the police spokesman said investigation on their activities was on going adding that the police acted on a tip-off to arrest them at the beer parlour where unsuspecting customers were seen chatting with them.

LEADERSHIP gathered that nemesis caught up with the suspects when some  people living around Jesus Save Road alerted the police about their presence at the beer parlour.

Accordingly, the police swiftly stormed the beer parlour where they met the suspects drinking in rowdy manners.

ASP Ajieh who gave the names of the suspects as  Edipade Timi Samuel, 21, Ezekiel Edeye ,23 and Michael Obiazor ,25, said that the police was ready to rid the state of criminals.
