Eagles star John Utaka debutes in new movie ‘Battered’

Super eagles striker and Montpelier star John Utaka debuts in a new movie BATTERED just released starring Fatima Jabbe, best actress 2011 at the  Black Entertainment, Film, Fashion, Television and Arts BEFFTA Awards and best supporting actress at the  Zulu African Film Academy Awards ZAFAA Awards 2011.

In ‘Battered’ Utaka supports Miss Jabbe who played Queen Fina on the world acclaimed movie the Mirror Boy in the flick that reflects violence against women as an obstacle to the achievement of equality, development and peace. Lead character Ann becomes a victim of crucial social mechanisms which forces women into subordinate positions.

Utaka after filming was ecstatic about his role which comes to cinemas near you soon.

Other stars include Yvonne Hays, Theodora Ibekwe, Collins Archie-Pearce, Atto Erick, Marie Gomez, Nana Churche amongst others.
