Do You Believe in Love at First Sight?

(1/1)

olutee:

"You in a party, A bar, Church, A friends gathering, Just out there. Suddenly someone is beside you and you were stunned and find ways to communicate (or not). Almost immediately you're struck by the eerie feeling that you may have just found Mr/Mrs Right. But that's crazy, isn't it? Or is it? Can a person really know something this life-changing so fast?"

There haven't been a lot of studies performed about the love at first sight phenomena, but countless books have been written on the subject, and I oftentimes feel surrounded by couples who feel their unions were decided upon exceptionally early into their relationships. As for me? I'd like to think that love at first sight is possible. There is an innate romanticism attached to the thought of meeting someone and having them hitting enough emotional triggers immediately to just know.

The realities of Love at First Sight

On a more personal basis, I think it happened to me once, I met this girl (A friends sister) and there and there, I just knew it and it was all i ever wanted, to make her happy, make her feel special, love her round the clock and plan the future together. Sad story in the end we didnt get "coupled" after 3 years of our relationship (issues that dont concern you) but still she remains my best Love till date.[Aawwww shey?  :-*]

But what about you? Do you believe in love at first sight? Why or why not?  :o

I believe that there is love at first sight ...

But my theory is when you meet someone new and your initial feelings eventually leads to something great down the line, Then its safe to call what you felt at first "Love at first sight" - well because it lasted.
