Choping Choping the MONEY:- Thats what a Vandalism Commission Is - Obasanjo

Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo has criticized calls for the federal government to set up a commission to tackle pipeline vandalization, saying it will just be another means for corruption which he called ‘chop-chop’ (embezzlement).

Speaking at a church service for the 50th birthday of Dr Obigaeli Ezekwesili, in Abuja, President Obasanjo said there are enough government agencies to tackle the problem of pipeline vandalization in the country, as he asked “what are the police and all the security agencies in the country, there for?”

“This (Sunday) morning, I was travelling from Abeokuta and  I was listening to a radio station when  I heard that they (government) are going to set up an agency for pipeline protection. Now, what are the police for? What are all the security agencies that we have doing? This is another chop chop.
