Athletico beats Madrid to win Copa Del Roy - breaks 14 year jinx against Madrid

 Jose Mourinho was sent from the bench and Cristiano Ronaldo sent off as Real Madrid lost 2-1 to Atletico Madrid in the Copa del Rey final.

Ronaldo had put Real ahead with a header following Mesut Ozil's corner before Diego Costa levelled.

Costa produced a composed finish after Radamel Falcao's pass before Real hit the post three times through Ozil, Karim Benzema and Ronaldo.

But Joao Miranda's extra-time header secured a famous victory for Atletico.

It was a 14 year jinx that was broken as the last Athletico beat Madrid was in 1999...what a way to break the jinx, Beat the almighty Mourinho and Ronaldo at a cup final....

Well done Athletico

And Atletico partied like it was '99!...
