The new NYSC Act Ammendment, What would you want?

The National assembly is set to re-amend the 1999 Constitution and im sure of key notice will be the NYSC Act which is also on the discussion table. As an ex-corper, New Corper or Student, What would like the amendment to look like?

Simply saying, What change would you like in NYSC?

1)Corpers should not be deployed to security risk areas
2)all allowees of any kind should be paid before P.O.P so they can attend to their next level of endeavour immediately.

All corpers should be posted to his or her region according to the 5 major regional areas in the country.
No need to put a corp member through any form of risks as the country seem unsettled at the moment.

My thots are simple...

NYSC should still be encouraged, however with the following considerations

The national spread should only be for the 3 weeks Camping.... The 3 weeks camping appears to be like 70% percent fun of the NYSC programme and that can still be encouraged to send people across the country

However, After the 3 weeks, People should be relocated back to their States to develop it in the areas responsible, Teaching, Technical stuffs and what have you

They could however allow some relocations that are justifyable if point 2 above is being used.

After serving my so called nation for 1year, i just realize the so called NYSC just wasted my 1year,
Reason, i was forced to teach @ a secondary school, so my own change to NYSC is that corpers must not be force to teach, they should be posted to a place where they can build all what they were thought in school. Not teaching
And seriously, i prefer 1 year of military training than NYSC, if only they can read this little article and start training corpers how to shot a gun or other military stuffs,
