Police Exhume Murdered UniBen Student For Autopsy

22-year-old, Ibrahim Momodu, a  University of Benin student, who was allegedly killed by a police officer last week,  has been been exhumed for an autopsy. This follows  the setting up of a panel to investigate the killing.

Since the incident, the Police command in the state has maintained their claim that he was a robber who was shot while trying to evade police arrest, however,  his family has vehemently denied their allegations.

The DPO who allegedly shot the deceased is currently being investigated.
