Police Arrest House help and Boyfriend Who Stole $100,000 From Employers

Special Anti Robbery Squad, SARS, Ikeja, Lagos have arrested a house help who allegedly connived with her boyfriend and two fake soldiers to steal 100,000 Dollars from her employers.

The 23 year-old house help, Adaeze Ijeoma, stole the money and gave it to her boyfriend, Onyebuchi Uche, to keep. He, in turn, fled with the money, changing some of the dollars to naira and  depositing N8 million in two banks. He  told the police that he also bought  a car; ‘End of Discussion’ and a plot of land where he had started molding blocks for building. Adaeze, her relative, Nnamdi, and two men disguised as solders found Onyebuchi and tortured him until he told them where to get the money. They retrieved N6.5million and the car.

The robbery case was reported at SARS after which Adaeze and two other persons were arrested.
