Man Beats Wife For Using Generator To Watch BBA

A man is currently being held in custody at the Bariga police station in Lagos, after he was reportedly arrested for beating his wife to the point where she needed medical attention, over her use of the family generator to watch ongoing continental reality show Big Brother Africa: The Chase.
Tajudeen Lawal, a local primary school teacher, recounts the events leading to his arrest. “I came home yesterday o, very tired from teaching all these useless children Mathematics, only for our generator to die immediately I entered the house. I was shocked na; I know I just put N1,500 fuel yesterday. Only for the foolish woman to tell me, “Ehn, oko mi, ma binu. Mo tun wo Big Brother l’ataro o.” Even worse, she had not even prepared my dinner! Is it fair? My brother, is it fair? Ehn? I couldn’t take it o. I beat her well well. Next time she hears Big Brother, she will run. Big Brother ko, aburo kekere ni. Stupid woman. Msschew.” At this point, he began to curse his wife in Yoruba, and we cannot print what he said on this site for the benefit of impressionable individuals.
Our reporters at FNN were not able to get into his wife’s room in the hospital, but we are told that she’s responding to treatment, but never wishes to see a TV or a generator ever again as long as she lives.
