what is d rate of mobile technology adoption in nigeria?

A thought recently flashed across my mind and so decided to share it in the form of a discussion thread.

1. What is the rate of adoption of Mobile Technology in Nigeria:
 a.  let's all narrow it down to our immediate environment and communities
 b. Let's respond using local communities as vase study

2. How many percent of facilities on smart phones do the regular smart phone users use?
a. Blackberry smart phone
b. Ios, android and windows phones

With the cost of these phones and other economic factors in mind are these phones really worth procuring?

3. With the popularity of phone applications, what can be done to optimise the use of mobile devices?
 a. From a user standpoint
 b. From a developer standpoint

4. Looking at the rate of procurement of new phones, that means we have a huge amount of electronic waste materials, what can be done to harness these materials - recycling.
