"Lee Daniels' the Butler" is worth seeing for the cast alone. It is led by the graceful and powerful Forest Whitaker, whose character, Cecil Gaines, ages 50 years in the film. Whitaker won an Oscar for playing demented dictator Idi Amin in "The Last King of Scotland," and spins a 180 for "The Butler," playing a man who must disappear into himself in order to keep his job in White America.
