Court jails man four years for stealing electric cables

An Ekiti State Chief Magistrate Court, Ado Ekiti District has sentenced a 20-year-old man, Ugar Ebenezer, to four years imprisonment for stealing electric cables worth N1.4m. Ebenezer was arraigned before Magistrate Dolamu Babalogbon on August 23, 2022, on a two-count charge bordering on breaking and stealing. The charge read, “That Ugar Ebenezer on 18/8/2022 around
