Ezekwesili blasts Presidency over alleged N100m cash gifts to abducted Girls

Former minister of education and a leader of the BringBackOurGirls campaign, Oby Ezekwesili has berated the presidency over the alleged act describing it as a “corrupting strategy” in place of empathy.

The former minister who expressed her displeasure via micro blogging site, twitter. said, “A corrupting strategy odiously used as a substitute for empathy & decisive result oriented action to rescue vulnerable children? DISGUSTING.”
She went on to say:
“I wish the #ChibokParents resisted the FILTHY LUCRE. REALLY wish they did. How much can douse the AGONY OF A MISSING CHILD? WE SHALL STAND.” she queried.

Reacting to the allegation levelled against the president, an aide to Jonathan, Doyin Okupe, dismissed the allegations via Twitter, describing the alleged N100 million cash gift as ‘falsehood’

“I want to make it clear & emphatically 2 dat PGEJ did not gv any N100m to d chibok visitors who came 2 d villa.D story is absolute falsehood” Okupe tweeted.
