Today, I’m thrilled to tell you that two weeks ago we sold our 100 millionth iPad.” Says that’s 100 million in just 2.5 years. That’s unprecedented for a new product in a new category, he says. Says Apple has sold more iPads in the June quarter that personal computer units shipped in the second quarter of 2012.

iPad accounts for 91 percent of tablet web traffic share.
