England stars Phil Foden, Mason Mount, and Marcus Rashford are among top ten most valuable players in football.

The CIES Football Observatory have come up with the predicted value of each player based on several attributes.

They have considered competition level, results, achievements, performance, experience, international status, age, contract length and position when coming up with each price.

Phil Foden tops the list by being valued at £163.4m following a hugely successful season where he became a mainstay in Pep Guardiola’s Man City team.

The 21-year-old helped City win a third Premier League title in four years and a fourth successive Carabao Cup.

Foden is followed closely by Mason Greenwood, who costs £153m.

The Manchester United forward signed a long-term contract in February and netted 12 goals last season.

Marcus Rashford, whose form tailed off towards the back-end of the 2020/21 campaign with just one goal in his final 10 games, is third at £137m.

To the surprise of many, Borussia Dortmund’s goal machine Erling Haaland only comes fourth as he is priced at £133.6m.

Haaland has scored an incredible 40 goals in 43 Bundesliga appearances and is being heavily linked with a big-money summer move to Chelsea.

Other players to feature on the list are Chelsea’s Mount, Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes and Barcelona’s Pedri Gonzalez.

Kylian Mbappe, who is considered one of the world’s best players, is a notable absentee.

However, that comes down to the France forward having just one year left on his Paris Saint-Germain contract.

While Haaland won’t get the chance to impress this summer, the likes of Foden, Mount and Rashford will have the eyes of the world cast upon them at Euro 2020.

The tournament could have a huge bearing on their price tags.
