Everton will be looking to bounce back from their disappointing week when they take on winless Norwich this weekend.

The Toffees had four wins from five to start the campaign, but the pressure has since returned with a 3-0 Premer League defeat to Aston Villa last Saturday.

Everton face winless Norwich in the Premier League this weekend

They were then knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Championship side QPR in midweek and will be desperate to return to winning ways.

Norwich meanwhile are in dire straights with boss Daniel Farke setting a record of the longest losing run by any manager in English top flight history

The Canaries sit rock-bottom of the table with zero points from five matches, conceding 14 goals and scoring just two.

However, there is hope for Norwich who earned one of their five wins they achieved the last time they were in the Premier League during this fixture.

Goals from Todd Cantwell and Dennis Srbeny sealed a 2-0 win at Goodison Park back in November 2019.

Everton v Norwich: Team news

Rafael Benitez has seen his side’s downturn in form coincide with a number of injuries to his top stars including Richarlison.

Brazilian Richarlison has been out since picking up a knock against Burnley and he may not be back until after the next international break.

Jordan Pickford also got injured in that game and he, alongside club captain Seamus Coleman, is set for a few weeks on the sidelines.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin is continuing to suffer from a broken toe and a quad injury meaning Salomon Rondon is in line to start up top again.

Fabian Delph and Jean-Philippe Gbamin were absent for the defeat to QPR meaning boss Benitez will be forced to shuffle the pack on Saturday.

As for Norwich, Todd Cantwell missed the midweek defeat to Liverpool for personal reasons and it’s yet to be revealed whether he’s back in action.

Christoph Zimmermann remains the club’s only injury doubt but Prezmysław Płacheta is also unavailable after testing positive for Covid-19.
